Starlight summer theatre - on hiatus

              currently COMBINING THIS WITH OUR summer CAMP

Ordinarily, our annual Inter-Generational Production, Grade 9 through adult (plus Cantabile Children's Choir)

Auditions traditionally in produced in early May at the Theatre & Kids Center

Performs late June at Christopher Dock High School's Longacre Center

Produced in conjunction with North Penn Community Education

Camp from July 6- 4 at Pennbrook Middle School

Performs July 25, Pennbrook Middle School, 2 & 7PM

2019 - 20 Season

YOUTH PRODUCTIONS   Fall / Winter - 2018 ON HIATUS

Fall brings a drama or comedy at a North Penn Elementary School, grades 7-12 

Winter brings a full out Shakespeare play to an area theatre location, grades 7-12

      8 week rehearsal periods, two-three performances, elaborate production values.

ORDINARILY, On Stage & Off divides its shows into several categories:

  • Theatre for Young Performers Productions - Shows featuring school-age actors.  These shows rehearse 2 days a week for 8 weeks and perform two or three times.  There is a small cost for participation and actors receive 2 free tickets. ON HIATUS
  • Starlight Productions - Shows featuring high school, college, and adult performers.  These shows rehearse 3 times a week for 8 weeks and perform 2-4 times.  There is no cost for participation, though all are aexpected to sell tickets - ON HIATUS.
  • Children's Caravan Productions - These traveling shows feature 3-6 college and adult aged actors and rehearse as needed for a few short weeks.  They then perform at venues all over the area for 6-8 weeks.  Actors are paid for participation. 
  • Summer Show Camp - All those who are enrolled are cast in the show and rehearse in long daytime rehearsals for 2 weeks.  They perform twice.  The cost for this show takes into consideration the "camp" atmosphere and extras. NOW COMBINED WITH PERFORMING ARTS CAMP
