Sue is a retired Navy Operations Specialist who came to us first as the mother of a student. She has been working with Cantabile for over twenty years. Currently Sue works as a physical education and music teacher at an area preschool. She is the lady who answers our phones!
A graduate of Temple University and part of the marketing team at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Michele has been with us from her childhood days and directed number of some of our most recent show camps like No Strings Attached and our two most recent Spring musicals, Little Miss Christie and Tom Sawyer: The Musical.
Will began his arts training with dance, even performing in his own nightclub act at 12! He has taught English and Drama from preschool through college and adult and is an accomplished singer, dancer, actor, director, and writer. Currently he has three masters degrees and is an English teacher and the head of the drama department at Phil-Mont Christian Academy.
Evie joined us in 6th grade as a camper and returned as an adult to teach and direct for 18 years. An instructor and coach for area gyms and fitness centers, nobody teacher better hip-hop or funk class than Miss Cook. A graduate of both Westchester University and Shippensberg University.
Randy is an accomplished actor and singer with a degree from The University of the Arts. He has traveled the country with a national tour or two, but always comes back to the North Penn area eventually! Currently, he is working as fitness director for one of areas finest gym. His special forte is stage combat instruction.
Both full-time school teachers, Lauren's English training makes her a great theatre teacher and leader of performing kids. Kevin's Chemistry discipline makes him the perfect tech theatre teacher and apprentice supervisor. Both have been in our program since middle school... where they met!
For various programs throughout the year, additional staff is needed to fill out the staff, especially for our summer camps! While there is some change-over from year to year, many of our team have been with us for a decade or more. We are confident that all our our accomplished, trained teachers are FIRST concerned with our students as growing children and THEN concerned with their growth as performers and artists.
Susan studied music in high school under Robert Hamilton, the founder of the Philadelphia Boys Choir. After graduating from Grove City College, she taught music for grades K-12 and high school Spanish, and worked with children of all ages in music and dance. Currently she is the Interim Head of School at Phil-Mont Christian Academy and also serves as the choir director at Lansdale Presbyterian Church.
